Terms and Conditions

Sales and Refund of Goods

These terms & conditions effect the transactional sale of goods by you and from John Blackmore Music pertaining to the web site www.williambarnessociety.org.uk . These terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Purchasing goods and services

  1. Goods and services include items from our shop that require payment
  2. Purchases are paid for via a third party payment gateway (PayPal). No payment information is retained by us in any format.
  3. Upon notification from PayPal that funds have been received, your order will be processed. We acknowledge receipt of PayPal orders via email usually within 48 hours.
  4. All goods and services remain the property of John Blackmore Music until full payment has been received.
  5. John Blackmore Music and/or The William Barnes Society does not accept any loss or liability by the user in using our services offered “as is” from our web site.
  6. Full payment is required in all cases unless otherwise stated.
  7. Goods will be dispatched in accordance with our delivery policy upon full payment or as previously agreed.

2. Returns policy

  1. If for any reason you are not happy with the goods or services you have purchased through our web site in the first instance please contact us at jnblackmore@live.co.uk
  2. You may return any goods for a full refund if you are not completely satisfied up to 30 days from the point of sale.
  3. Goods must be returned in their original packaging where possible.
  4. John Blackmore Music and/or the William Barnes Society are not liable for any loss or damage to returned goods and refunds are only issued once the item has been received and restocked.
  5. John Blackmore Music and/or the William Barnes Society will NOT charge a restocking fee and refunds issued in accordance with your statutory rights.
  6. You may request either a refund or replacement accordingly but may be charged any difference likewise refunded the difference if the product is cheaper.
  7. Refunds may take up to 14 days to process.
  8. Replacement items will be shipped in accordance with delivery times and availability.

3. Breakages policy

  1. If for any reason the item you buy is delivered damaged you are entitled to 100% refund or exchange of goods.

4. Delivery policy

  1. Goods will be delivered within due lead time as described on the product detail page.
  2. All goods will be delivered within a 30 day window maximum but some items may require longer (bespoke items or specialist items).
  3. Goods sent 2nd Class Royal Mail will normally be dispatched within one week of the order being received. If a delay is anticipated, the purchaser will be informed by e-mail, provided a suitable contact address has been given.
  4. 30 days refer to working days and excludes weekends and bank holidays.
  5. Where possible all items are dispatched to transit companies for distribution and in doing so we request that all items on delivery are inspected for damage and reported to us within 3 days of delivery.

5. Overseas -International Orders

  1. Unfortunately, we do not currently deliver outside the UK through the pay button. Please contact jnblackmore@live.co.uk.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied please contact us as soon as possible: jnblackmore@live.co.uk . We will try and resolve your issues in the best way possible but rest assured that your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Liability

John Blackmore Music and/or The William Barnes Society cannot be held responsible for events beyond their reasonable control. These may include (but are not limited to) stoppages of the Internet, stoppages of the postal service, disruption from external causes. The liability of John Blackmore Music and/or The William Barnes Society shall be limited to the value of the materials supplied. John Blackmore Music and/or The William Barnes Society will not be held liable for any other losses. This does not affect your statutory rights.
