As part of the Thomas Hardy Weekend organised by the Thomas Hardy Society

Readings followed by a wreath-laying ceremony led by the Mayor of Dorchester at the Thomas Hardy Statue, Top O' Town.

Then a short walk to St. Peter's Church, where a wreath will be placed on William Barnes' statue.
