St. Thomas à Becket's Church, Lydlinch, Dorset

For the Bells of Lydlinch - A Special Afternoon of Poetry & Fundraising
Come and join us for a special afternoon in support of the Lydlinch Church Bells Appeal.
Members of the Society will be reading a selection of poems, including the much-loved work of Dorset poet William Barnes.
Discover the story of the Lydlinch Bells
Hear about the fascinating history of these treasured bells and their place in Dorset’s heritage — bells famously immortalised in William Barnes’ poem “Lydlinch Bells.”
Tea will be served afterwards by parishioners.
Please come along, enjoy the poetry, learn about our historic bells, and donate generously towards their restoration.
Help us preserve an iconic part of Dorset culture for generations to come.
Every contribution will make a difference.
