Sturminster Newton Literary Festival
The William Barnes Society have been invited to attend this event which will run throughout the day, with readings including some by members of the Society, in coffee shops and public places. There will also be walks, and a re-enactment of a Victorian school days, culminating in an evening of readings, drama and music at the Exchange featuring Tim Laycock, The New Hardy Players, The William Barnes Society and a cappella singing group 'Jam Please' who will be performing several of their own settings to William Barnes poems.
